Sex to subconscious.

Do you believe in true love,asked my friends 17 year old son.An age when emotions are a mixture of attractions,infatuations, projections,first love etc.I am aware of the hormonal imbalances at your age,I said to him in a reassuring yet respectful tone.I didn’t want to sound mean.Crushes after all have a charm of their own,age ...just in the mind. 

I was wondering what is it that attracts us to different people at different ages and different stages.I would like to believe it is the care that makes us reach out to different people. 

Some connections have a hidden tone to it.Lust per say. There are so many perspectives,all a matter of convenience. So many people have for ever equated themselves to Krishna all in the garb of having their prospective sex partners.

Next time you are tempted just ask yourself one simple question:

What lifts my spirit,my mind or my body? 

Our culture does not easily allow us or teach us to label emotions. Boys have for a long period not been taught to express but suppress.Hence seeking help for their conflicting emotions at times does not come easy for them.

Support in the form of therapies,talking it out etc has to be encouraged by the family, friends and the near n dear ones.Yes all this without judging the person too strong.
