Practice is patience.
I meditate,but nothing happens,says Rohan.Miyah texted that today in her breathing practice She had all the thoughts of economy and corona.At times when I am doing my breath work,I feel I am thinking more than I usually do,shared Sonia.For me at times I get distracted with the thoughts of cooking and writing while doing my breath work.
Different people,different experiences and different perception.
Just as a single bite of food is never enough for us to fill our stomachs.We need substantial portion to satisfy our hunger.Gluttons .....well balance is the key.Likewise,my experience with breath work says that it is not an injection that will instantly relieve you from some pain or stop distracting you from thoughts,real or virtual.Practice and patience.
Breath work is self work.It is a practice which needs your patience and commitment.Observing your breath is far more than deep breathing,inhaling and exhaling.Till the time your observation of breath totally absorbs you and takes you to a point where it’s just you and everything else drops,the work is not complete.
Prayer,the starting point,gratitude the ending point.
This point of absorption is that “Aha”moment.
