Just loaf(ing).

I love my millets loaf of bread in the morning and  love loafing around in the evenings.Sukhana lake, cycling tracks, different sector markets are some of  my favorite spots. The vegetable market and the grocery store I need not mention because by default I land up there without any air craft. The power of the spirit!.Last but not the least my favorite one ..Naturals.....the ice-cream parlor.Every spoonful brings me closer to heaven.Sometimes it is the ice...sometimes it is the cream.Mostly both!Like both sides of the life.

Yesterday on my loafing trip I entered one of the bartan shop. The man at the cash counter with a million dollar smile politely asked me....Are you from abroad....London???
Neem ka pedh kya chandan se kam hai...
Humara chandigarh kya London se kam hai? I replied .
Beta what do you need?
Need.....uncle actually  nothing but wants many!!!Still I successfully pretended to look like a serious customer. Buy only if you need Beta....things are getting expensive. The statement surprised me.How do you manage your sales Uncle, if you keep telling your customers not to hoard...build necessary etc.As I waited for him to answer I recalled what I read last month by Socrates ,'Often when looking at a mass of things for sale he would say to himself ...how many things I have no need of.

When I go to buy something I am also a customer and I don't want anyone to mislead me, Uncle replied.
I practice what I preach.

The sacred pause.

I complimented him for his genuiness. Uncle gifted me a special knife from his shop.I am learning to be a good receiver and I accepted it with grace. Will the knife help me in cutting down the hoarding especially my obsession for stationary ?
The documentary 'Minimalism" has the answer.

Driving back I was self- talking about my temptations.A friend called up and said I have got some cycling t- shirts for you.

  I resist...she persists.

Buddhism says enough is a feast. I say I can't control my feet...atleast loafing around.
