The broom,The chanting.

The peacocks on the tree at 5am...the birds...the cows ....some people in the garden of the gaushala...beads in their hands... that's the morning in vrindavan.

What you hold in your hands is the result. This line from 'The confidential Secrets of chanting the Holy Name in Perfection' by Sacinandana Swami reinforces the power and symptoms of chanting.

Sitting on the bench I was trying my best to share with Anuradha.....some questions...doubts...reinforcements...encouragements...corrections !

My eyes suddenly fell on this man carrying a long broom......the bamboo stick was thick and steady and so was the broom....look look ...I said to Anuradha this is Krishna's arrangement for me to clean and clear myself.....because my mind was gripped with thoughts all over. With her super charming smile Anuradha politely said....it is the chanting that does it.

Chant in the mood of giving service, not taking service.
Chant in the mood of giving pleasure, not in the mood of relishing pleasure..
Krsna is rasaraja,'the king of enjoyment' not you!

Miles to go before I......

We each go through life our own way and at our own pace. To discover what my higher power wants from me today, I must be still and listen to the answer.
