One thing at a time

Concentrating on one thing at a time may be the single most important factor in achieving flow.

Hector Garcia Puigcerver, Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life

Today I was sitting with a friend of mine whose mother has been detected with cervix cancer.

Anxiety , panic attacks, fear of loss to insecurities are the normal expected feelings the family is going through.

From mantra chanting to prayers to practicing different rituals for the good health of the mother is what every family member is engaged in.

As i was talking to her about her spiritual practices she shared that she connects a lot with the 'Kirtan ' in the gurdwara.

Ho'oponopono is another practice she indulges in.

I listen to the kirtan and then do my practice.

One thing at a time.....this is the essence.

Patience and commitment are a virtue.
