Kumbh in the ❤️ heart.

 "Man proposes, and God delivers”

A chance call with a friend and I had the opportunity to experience and explore the most happening 'Mahakumbh"。

Why do I say happening ,because it was happening? Everything out there was happening, the camps, the dance, the food, the people, the discourses, the havansThe temple's around ,the tea stalls..etc etc.

The patience of the police officers on duty was par excellence The visitors were asking the same questions...Where is the ghat ? What is the arrangement....where can I change clothes? And to each person they were answering these queries with the same warmth in the heart and encouraging tone.Listening to a prayer in one of the holy places recently the  lady officer was rude to the core in telling me not to stand their A pregnant lady standing beside me was literally pushed by her and she almost tripped. In my experience,I didn't hear even one person on duty complaining. One of the evenings walking on the stretch of a Arail ghat, I started talking to the police officer about experience at the mahakumbh. He said ,ma'am there are no doubts lots of people and at times they do  get hysterical but I'm loving doing this because I'm taking it as a small service that I can do for my fellow beings here as a service to my nation. He was walking every day around fourteen to sixteen kilometres to be at the point where he was appointed. This is applied spirituality。

My friend asked me about my learning from the Kumbh?

I feel more devoted to my dharam in terms of my roles and responsibilities. There is humbleness that has  settled in,in a big way when you see people walking hundreds of miles ,their bags on  their heads sleeping at the sides of the roads in open with dry grass as their bed.The most touching sight was that of a woman bargaining for a tea cup of rupees 10 because she didn't have enough money .Her tattered clothes showed her that situation was real and her contentment on the face super real。

What is it that you washed away in the River? asked my friend..

Forgiveness! I instantly replied. in that moment of going deep in the waters。Forgiving myself.... because we can get hard with ourselves.

Forgiving others !

If forgiveness was an Art... I'm sure healers would use all the colors.Seekers would restrict the use of colors why?because seekers are in the process and healers have gone through the process。

While taking a dip the Ganga stotram :

DÈVÌ SURESVARI BHAGWATI GANGE TRIBHUVANTARINI TARALATARANGE |

SANKARAMAULIVIHARINI VIMALE MAMA TAVA PADAKAMALE ||

देवि सुरेश्वरि भगवति गंगे त्रिभुवनतारिणि तरल तरंगे।

शंकर मौलिविहारिणि विमले मम मति रास्तां तव पद कमले ॥ १ ॥

This  is salutation to maa ganga who is goddess of the devas, stating that she liberates all  the three worlds with her waves in liquid form.

She the stainless , spotless one who resides in head of lord Siva , telling her that may my devotion remain fully and firmly established in her lotus feet. 🙏

This dip into my inner self  was a moment of celebration and liberation.

Kumbh in the ❤️ heart!

Why did God choose me to be a part of this experience?because I was ready for it。ready for the dip.....not just inside the river...but inside my own being. The experience is not about just visiting à sacred place but visiting your own self.
