The next canvas.

The nip in the air, the chirping of the birds,Hare Krishna chants,,picking flowers from the garden of Eden, watching the rising sun, enjoying the process of making tea...afterall the brew makes all the difference and admiring a painting in front of my work table ....different shades of.....??

The art work...does it always have a theme or needs a theme ? Well some copy  cat  could tell that. It is a freedom of expression for me. An expression about something inside me ,I may not be aware of and it flows right on the canvas like writing ...just romance with words. Divine intervention.

My small scrap books, Journaling diaries , the canvas diaries ,the blank canvas, ready to paint boxes and brushes are like my daily diaries .I  maintain them amd they maintain me.Creativity takes courage. If one could say it in words there was no need to paint. Each Era gives birth to its genius.

Admiring my range of painting colors and myself I recalled a line by Marshall Mc Luhan , "Art like morality consists in drawing the line somewhere".I want the best shade for my 'the' next blank canvas. Likewise for the next phase of my life I  want  the best thought.

The tea pot,the cup, the diary, the pen the fresh flowers all well laid to set the tone for the day.....eeeshhhtile.The curtains in the room bring all life ...sparrows ....butterflies....traditional motifs ..self prints....the green plants ...the sufi music ...the pretty woman .....all  under one room.

Dressing up too in a style...different contrasts and some ethnic jewelery. I am thy own woman. The expression.
Girl with a Pearl Earring by Dutch artist Jan Vermeer is often referred to as the northern Mona Lisa. This is not only because of its extraordinary popularity, but also because the expression on the girl's face is difficult to capture and explain.

Tattoos in a style. Grace matters.

This is all work of art. If life is offering me so many shades, tints and  combos what is it that I can do with my thoughts.

The sacred pause.

Choose them wisely and widely.

There is no dearth of thoughts ..emotions and feelings we experience...as humans. Something that adds colors is the spirit
Tip..eee...tipi..tap...what color you want?

We have a choice to live with pain but not in the Pain..live not with life but in life.
Shining face and the grace. All within us!

One way I absorb the energy and the spirit from Radha Krishna paintings is by observing and absorbing  all the colors from head to toe.The shingar had its own charm. For me...I look into the mirror, take a deep breath, put on my bindi and as I enter this new day  my heart is filled with gratitude.

Bin tere har shingar fazool hain
Tera hona hee mere chehre ka noor hain!

Good colors ...good thoughts.

I would never have taken up painting if women did not have breast..Pierre Auguste Renoir.
